Watch Vampire Hunter D then. But in general this is what vampire stories are all about, gore, mortality, romance, perversion. If you take away all these elements there isn't any reason to make it a vampire story in the first place =)
 

Yep, I know, that's why I'm interested in checking it out..... Plus, there's a Blade Runner sequel next year directed by the same guy as that of Arrival, Sicario, etc., so, it'd be interesting to see which one wins.....
And, thanks for the recommendations!
