Animes that are weirdly similar

all the shonen anime are pretty much the same
bada$$ protagonists and antagonists and all the fighting and then the end.
 
Shonen and isekai are definitely the genres that are mostly guilty of having a lot of similar anime, but that definitely doesn't mean the genre as a whole is bad. Well, for isekai at least. I'm still not a fan of shonen. XP

lol but shonen is among the top genres
and i should say it's the first and best genre anime had to offer based on anime viewing rate.

'Based on viewing rate' doesn't really mean much imo, though. It's mostly appealing to the masses.

You start digging into a genre, you’ll see a lot of repetition.
 

The anime that are the best in their genre are the ones that can step beyond that genre's tropes, yeah.
 
There is a new manga by the guy who did Rosario Vampire, never heard this premise before:
Girl fights monsters/ghosts and one of her partners is a guy who can turn into a talking scythe.

Also Strike the Blood is trying waaay too hard to be A Certain Magical Index 2.0, but with less charm and more harem antics.

and i am sure people do enjoy it when a challenge is given to them and risk know popular anime already
 
I've considered the challenge, but I'll probably just end up gonig with 'what anime that I am gonig to watch already can I make fit the challenge?' XD
