Starting from Pokemon and almost any anime I could think of has a weird creature In it....

pokemon isn't a weird creature. just like we have animals, they have pokemon. pikachu would be a cat or a dog or something in between

Haha... Pikachu is a mouse actually and there are weird creatures in Pokemon like magmar, Jynx , barbaracle, Muk weezing etc.. Its full of odd creatures to begin with..

it's a rodent creature. i never expected to be a rat. they could be based on sea creatures too. i think so the pokemon are inspired from regular animals

Not necessarily real life animals.. But yes, for some pokemons you can correlate.. For others, its just random creatures.

random creatures from fiction just look how we think of mythical creature. i don't get digimon and they are not based on the animals pokemon

You can correlate digimons with dragons though.. Some digimons are weird during various stage of transformation..

What else do ya call them? Look at their appearance.. It resembles that of a description of a dragon.. Agumon evolves to a dragon.. And so does the other digimons.. Not all, but mostly.. Also, ya can have digimons which evloves as an angel.. I dont remember its name though.. Gabumon looks like a dog and a teddy bear combined.. Eventually they evolve to something of dragon-like thing..

Well, I have watched digimon Tamers a bit because of Clara and renamon and terriormon don't have dragon shapes.
They do look like Pokemon to me

Interesting.. As far as I recall planning, digimon, bit beasts bey blade are the only ones, that are popular.
I am not so sure about other creatures that are popular enough like these

Popularity huh.. To me, all 3 three shows were good .. Back in the days.. Poke, digi and bey.

Tyson And kai are still my fav beybladers... The first 3 seasons involving Tyson was the best.. Same with digimon.. The sequels didnt impress me that much.. Though I liked them To some extent.. Didn't watch all the sequels either

Kai is like badass.. I used to imitate him when i was a kid.. Dress like him...he has this superman like thing behind him..
