Anime with apocalypse

Do you know any anime man?
It can be anything like zombie apocalypse to any other huge phenomenon.
 
Evangelion, Kamisama no nai nichiyobi, Dragonball Z and super. Shinsekai yori and and AOT have post apocalyptic settings.
 

I was expecting high school of the dead, anime name man.
I can't think of a happy ending for AOT too man.
 
i know many manga but they are all yaoi manga.
i don't remember a straight manga having a very dark theme like this
 
High School of the Dead to some extent as well though for now it's in the outbreak stage, AoT is full-blown post-apocalyptic. Fist of the North Star is post-apocalyptic as well, along with Akira though I haven't watched both.
Of the ones I've watched probably Owari no Seraph and Darling in the FranXX.

There are many humans in owari no seraph man.
I wouldn't call them extinct in that anime but I get what you mean. At one point all of them died but that never explained the adults who are older than Mika, outside of the vampire laier man

Thanks man and all the anime you mentioned are in my list to watch.
I never got around them but I plan to watch them soon
