Anime where the antagonists are far more powerful/wiser than the protagonists even at the end

Let's not talk about the evil ways and cruel means but the actual strength and the emotional intelligence of a character here.
I can't think of any antagonist for now.

lol usually even if the antagonists are very smart at the beginning, by the end they become insane like light in death note.
