Anime where main protagonist doesn't have the ultimate power

is there an anime like that?
naruto, one piece, i am pretty sure luffy will get that in the end, bleach and all the other anime got the same thing going for them.
 
You got it wrong man.
There is a difference between strong characters and overpowered characters.

but i like strong characters and not overpowered characters no matter how charming they are.
 
With that, I agree man.
I don't like overpowered characters too much. They just draw a lot of attention.
 
do you know that naruto is like a god in that series?
he got too much power and even sasuke couldn't do much against him.
 
I am aware of that man.
Despite what others think, Sasuke can take Naruto down and he got the equal strength.
 
but still naruto was able to take down sasuke
wouldn't that be something to say sasuke doesn't have the upperhand.
 
Then what do you think of evil characters man?
Like in Star wars the protagonist turned into an antagonist in the end.
 
There are evil protagonists man.
Right from the start they are evil but not like this. So I was just wondering.
