Detective conan. 
It's got like 900 + episodes. I want to watch it but I am afraid to pick it up. It's really popular to ignore....ugh....
What about you guys?

Are you talking about anime you don't wanna pick up but you are actually interested in?
 
i am afraid of bad endings.
i don't like to read them and i dropped many anime and manga when they are going to get a bad ending.
 
Kind of hesitant of checking out goblin slayer, because I know its going to be graphic but at the same time good.

it had good and bad reviews at the same time.
i would ask you to check that before deciding if it's good or not
 
Just start it if it looks interesting and if you don't like it drop it. If you enjoy it the amount of episodes wont matter. I don't know why anime fans are so picky with this stuff like once they start an anime they have some sort of obligation to finish it.

people who watch more anime are popular.
if you watch a few anime with long episodes, it wouldn't matter much. have you watched any long anime?

I don't watch long anime but the length doesn't matter if you like it the amount wont matter.

if you look deeply into why you won't pick long anime, there are usually only two reasons.
you won't have time for anime to watch with others and you won't want to pick it up, as the episode count is huge.
there is a reason why some anime can air for so long

try one piece, naruto, bleach, boku no hero academia, attack on titan, haikyuu, and all of them are very long anime.
even detective conan, they can get you hooked in no time

Hm.. now come to think of it, i never had problem with length, i my case i give more concern to the art. This is the reason why i'm having trouble with one piece and one punch man, kinda silly.. because lot of people say those titles are good

if you care only about art, then i recommend totally captivated manga.
it's got the best art.
nothing can ever beat it

yes but it had a solid story to it.
you would be surprised when it gets dark for couple of episodes at the end.
i totally recommend them

Okay then i can start slowly with one punch man. But i think i can push forward with one piece, both you and rose totally recommend it, it makes me curious
