Anime that made the waiting look bad...

What are the anime, that made the waiting as hell for you man?
I couldn't wait for the next episode The promised neverland back in the day. I remember Made in Abysss too.
 
Death Note, Code Geass and FMA. Worst part is I watched the dub with the sub available, so I tormented myself more.

I get tired of waiting for new episodes man.
 
Tbf every anime movie I want to watch is a waiting nightmare for people outside japan and maybe the US/UK area. We never get to watch them on time and during the hype. Some special mentions go to the made in abyss movie, evengelion 3+1 (3 CAME OUT IN 2012),
But for episodes the promised neverland early episodes, most of the episodes of naruto and one piece when I was waiting for them, and also special mention for the HEllsing OVA whose episodes came out sporadically taking between 6 months to 1.5 years for an episode to come out. Luckily 9/10 had aired already when I watched it.
Bunch of season 2s like BnHA, AOT, Drifters and One punch man also can be included.

and it's too slow paced too
and people keep forgetting about the slow pace these days.
 
I think it hasn't been updated for a while man.
May be there is something going on with the author.

I can't find decent info too on the internet, maybe she's getting married and forget about her series haha..

ongoing manga are always popular. what do you mean by it doesn't have enough popularity now? in your circles?

that is true
mainstream shounen series got a predictable plot most of the time.
