OP from my favourite anime: Period by Chemistry and probably my favourite out of all 5 OP. Strangely enough the guy who uploaded the full version of the song didn't include anything from the actual OP. Here's the full version:

Here's the actual 90 second video version of OP 4. The visuals are probably next to Again and Rain in terms of foreshadowing, action and storytelling but the song itself is so catchy. Although the last 10 seconds are sorta weird, they abruptly cut to a later part of the song to match the beat instead of letting the instruments play out.

First ED of One Piece. I believe it was also used after Sanji and Luffy fight in the Whole Cake Island arc.

When Luffy and Sanji fight and afterwards Sanji says he wants to return.

Don't get what you mean. It's the full version of the ED. And it's an actual song.

The starting 30 seconds
I thought the lyrics are present from the beginning, but that's not the case.

Lots of songs cut out that part. It's only 90 seconds so they start from when the singing portion begins.

i never knew songs can be cut
i haven't observed it and this is new. good observation star
That's why pop music is chosen for OP's. They all usually have those few seconds where it becomes really catchy and they insert the best parts of the song into the OP.

I see.
I don't usually look for full songs of an anime opening. So, this is news to me..

The 90 second version gets over quickly so you can't use a playlist for a ride that's an hour long. It also doesn't sound like an actual song most of the time without the video.

Interesting.
Thank you for sharing the information. I haven't thought of that before.

then you get the full thing where it is epic or becomes a disappointment.

Guren no Yumiya was that for me, the 90 second version is among the most epic OP's out there and I didn't like the full version. And Period from FMAB was the opposite, I liked the full version.
