i love this anime and it takes place in meji era XD
can someone suggest some cool anime like this?
i don't want some comedy shit.

Not really Gintama since Sebastian doesn't want any comedy. Its still one of the best anime out there though.

I second InuYasha, Samurai Champloo and Trigun.
You should also try Peace Maker Kurogane, Hakuoki and Shaman King. Rave Master too.

Inuyasha like they said.Takes place in feudal japan.But maybe phantom requiem for the phanom. Its dark and gives off the same atmosphere.

Three people have recommended it to you....You may also try Phantom Requiem for the Phantom, as Burnsy suggested, if you want.....It's a great anime....

Dark humor...well its kind of hard to describe. Well, I guess an example could help. If I say that an anime is dark humor, I mean that it revolves around dark elements such as tragedies and deaths but makes actually fun of them.

You said that you didn't want any shit comedy but dark humor isn't a simple type of comedy. Its somewhat similar to the serious humor and you sometimes might laugh even though the character doesn't say anything funny. Anyway, I think you should definitely give it a try.
