alucard is the main character.
So, at the end of the day, he can't be destroyed.

I never said it's a popular trend. But I bet there are more than twenty shows out there where the main character dies. I know only about a couple, but I watched very few anime =) Btw I won't list any, its like a very too huge of a spoiler :P

Well, I wouldn't have mentioned him had I not been re-watching FMAB..... He's the one who gets crippled when he and Mustang fight with Lust......
