Anime character's personality and how would you judge?

Usually we will be able to understand a character's personality after watching 1-2 episodes of that anime.
What do you think?

I would take my time to judge these personalities
Who expected Itachi from Naruto to be a good guy? Gin Ichimaru from Bleach too. You can't judge a character just like that.

It doesn't matter much and they are all fictional characters and if some characters are particularly vicious, I would remember them for quiet some time only to forget all about them later.

It usually takes a few episodes to truly get the gist of a character's personality, and sometimes there are swerves at the end of a series, so you never really knew that character to begin with. I try to not to judge characters when I watch, they're just characters and the story needs to unfold before you can really judge people.
