Recommend me an anime series about hospitals, ill people in hospitals and / or doctors in hospitals.

Mind you, the main character happens to be a doctor... But, the main story is something else....
 
Hospitals concept is not something everyone would like.
Here are the anime that have injured characters:

1. Elfen lied
2. Guilty crown
3. Clannad

They have TV shows about hospitals (Grey's Anatomy, House M.D.), so I wonder why there aren't too many anime series about hospitals...

Because no one want to see their anime charactrs in hospials.
who ant to see someone getting hurt and their hospital time?
