Amazon prime country restrictions

Why do you think we have these restrictions?
Is it really good to have such restrictions based on the country? If so, why do you think that?

I believe so.
But I have seen couple of local movies in other countries but they are not available in my country here

I would want to know about those reasons too, out of plastic curiousity.

yep, but like netflix there is a lot of red tape and hoops to go through leading to a long process.

Hm.. it's bit lame if we pay and still get some movies restricted
