Adults only , thoughts about cheating

my friend talked to me the other day. she suspects her husband could be cheating and she wants to cheat if it's confirmed.
i told her to leave the guy and date someone good in the future.
but she doesn't care much for my advice.
do you think two wrongs can be right?

No. But I doubt your friend is being logical right now. She's probably being driven by the desire to hurt him by giving him a taste of his own medicine in a twisted attempt to get justice.

I think you definitely gave her good advice. Still, hopefully that is not the case he is cheating and it is all misunderstanding or bad coincidences. Although if she is considering what to do with such confidence I guess it is more than just a few clues to the possible cheating.
 
Why should she LOWER herself to that level?
Does she not VALUE HERSELF? Her morals?
This is like what my dad used to tell me as kid, and I hated it: "Just because your friends are jumping off a bridge, does that mean you have to as well?" But ya know what? He was right.

this makes a lot of sense. when you are hurting, you would want the other person to feel that hurt, if not more.
i wish i could help her but i feel so helpless.

she was there for me and even gave me money when i needed it the most despite not having much to herself.
i don't want her to do things she would regret later

Sometimes, as painful as it is for the people around them, some people just have to learn life's lessons the hard way. But then again, that's also something that defines a true friendship. You're willing to stick by them, even as they trip through their mistakes. You're still willing to offer them a hand up on the other side. Such friendship is difficult to find today, and the best part? YOU get to decide if you're that friend. :)

you are right lol
i will do my best for her and for anyone i know until they gave me a reason not to do it. some people are difficult to please and they take advantage and i don't have time for them lol

I don't understand how someone can cheat on their spouse or partner. If you've hit a rough patch, seek therapy or at least break up with them before cheating. My wife told me about this person on tiktok who unfortunately found their spouse dead... but found out that she was cheating on them after she passed away since they were going through her messages and they had to inform the person on the other end that she had died... Not only that but their wife was cheating with multiple people. :S

i don't see why people make it complicated. if you think you want to leave just go ahead lol.. why choose to be a scumbag?
 
It's simple. Insecurity and fear. People that cheat know that if they're cut loose, they have to survive on their own. Nobody to exploit.
