Action & Sci-fi Recommends wanted

[Kai]

I am looking for a new anime to get into.

I'd prefer longer animes but 12 episodes is fine.

• Male Character as the lead
• No romance(or very little...i dont need a love story)
• Scif-FI or Action or Horror is a plus
• Good cast of characters...even if there is a main character i dont want the anime to be all about the main character
• Not too perfect of a character but not to weak.

A bad guy with actual depth and personality who isnt one dimensional.

code breakers - i didn't finish it but it''s a good anime.

Seirei no moribito! (A really good one with lots of action and a traditional touch.)
Psychic detective yakumo (i recommend to anyone and everyone )
Shaman king (A bit childish at first but it is really good.)

Yu yu hakusho

Spiral(I have 5 more episodes to go for this anime)
Trigun(Do not judge it based on the art alone)

From the current season I recommend One Punch Man, in general - Psycho Pass. Technically it doesn't meet your criteria cause the protagonist is a girl, but there is such a strong male cast in there that I think it is a fair suggestion. And it is a sci-fi action show, with a pretty nonlinear plot for the villain side. I think you'll like it.

For some reason it doesn't seem like that.
Female lead is rare and psycho pass is no exception. The main protagonist seems like that other officer to me

I can't agree with you there, but we're going to have to discuss that in the Vampire Knight thread. I didn't think there was much action in it and no sci-fi at all.

I wasn't too fond of Vampire Knight. It was way too romance heavy and the action was just stilted....

Psycho-pass fits all your requirements......
Sci-Fi: Steins;Gate(great anime; romance is a main genre though, but, it's done in a very subtle and elegant way)

Action: Btooom(good anime; Sci-fi and romance: secondary genre), Code Geass(great anime), Darker than Black(good anime), Shingeki no Kyojin(very good anime), Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood(great anime; long anime; don't watch Full Metal Alchemist), Fate/Zero(2 seasons, very good anime), Rurouni Kenshin(samurai anime; good anime), Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom(very good anime; action, thriller, etc.)

PS: I recommend Baccano if Durarara suits your taste.....
