Accuracy of Google translate

Have you guys tried Google translate before?
It is not that bad but it is not too accurate either. I am using Google translate to post this thread

Yes. Google translate right? I mean.. when i see unfamiliar words or words that i'm not sure what's the meaning of them, i just write it on Google translate to see the translation

I google them a lot.
Like this word meaning in English. I wouldn't type it in the app.

I was under the impression you must have had an app plugin which would let you type in another language.

Depends on the language you translate from or too.

Japanese -> English
isn't that band, however you still need to use your mind.
Also short sentences work better than long sentences.

same for
English -> Japanese.
you really need to check if you kinda said the thing you wanted to say.
But I use it often en people seem to understand it.
But need some fixes too.


there is also deepl which is a great use to cross use with google translate.

i don't use it much
and i used to use it for reading more manga in another language. but now i don't need it much as i keep on using only translated manga

I haven't been using it much but I don't think it's a bad idea to use it, once in a while

I've used it quite often, when i worked as a content creator/graphics artist for an old RSPS i'd need to talk to quite a few who didn't know English, and it worked 95-100% of the time, as long as i didn't screw up inputting it

I haven't been using it much. I don't usually get to use it except for a few words here and there
