Do you ever think the FT creator should have spent an arc or made a spin off series to focus more on Erza's armors? From what more they can do and how she came about owning them all?

MadaraUchiha said:This is one of my gripes with her. Since Mashima never explained how her power works, or how she got her armors, she's literally deus-ex-machina - ing armors out of her ass. Though, it's not a problem with only her though. Fairy Tail never had a proper power-scaling in the first place.

It's kind of hard to pull off a proper power-scaling for most series. That aside, Erza has a lot of good backstory that could be utilize.
MadaraUchiha said:With the exception of the war arc, Naruto had a proper power-scaling. One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Magi, etc., all have good power-scaling.
In Fairy Tail however, we literally don't know how powerful Natsu can get. The only pwer-scaling for them is the enemy. And, like Natsu's only power is to summon flames and punch his enemies till they get defeated. The only unique additions to his powers were the extra lightning element, and the dragon force, which also became something no-so-unique. I'd say only Lucy and Gray have what I'd call as definite powers or attacks.
yaoifangirl said:did you watch this till the end? i heard that the black natsu got powerful enough and gray was still fighting with him, to stop his evil deeds.
MadaraUchiha said:That's probably in the manga. I watched everything that was released(all 277 episodes). The last two arcs are gonna be adapted this year.
yaoifangirl said:i didn't realize that it's a manga story and forget about it, it's not my intention to spoil anything for anyone.

MadaraUchiha said:Nah, I don't care about Fairy Tail so chill.
yaoifangirl said:fairy tail lost it's luster after the time skip. i won't be watching it reading any more of fairy tail
MadaraUchiha said:Yeah, but that's like one. All the other countless armours are just stuff she has and nothing more.
I caught up to it only because the final season was gonna start this year. To me it's the definition of mediocre shounen anime, one you can watch when you are too lazy to search for something interesting. I started Gintama in Jan, and I thought it was gonna be like that too, but I'm really liking it so far.
yaoifangirl said:gintama manga will be ending soon. the manga is in final arc and even the anime is coming up to it
MadaraUchiha said:I know, that's also why I resumed it. It was a choice between starting Gintama and Dragon Ball, and since Gintama would take at least 5 months to get over, and Dragon Ball Super gets over in like March, I chose Gintama.
yaoifangirl said:dragon ball if ending too? that's news to me as i thought it would go on forever. you like dragon ball?
MadaraUchiha said:Dragon Ball Super is ending, actually. It started in 2015.
I haven't watched a single episode of Dragon Ball, so I don't have any opinions on it.
yaoifangirl said:something else would have it's place dragon ball ultimate, dragon ball supreme there are many names
MadaraUchiha said:Not sure about that. Dragon Ball GT was the last one before Super, and that was during 1996-1997, and it took almost 20 years for Toei and Akira Toriyama to make another one, and the entire Dragon Ball GT was made filler/non-canon. Pretty sure, it'll be a few years before we see another one, but they will make one, since Super is like extremely popular internationally, probably the most popular. The irony is, the mainstream anime community(people like us) don't give a shit about it.
