So what's the anime of the year 2017 for you? What did you think of all the other anime that were released(or aired) in 2017?
Here are the anime from,

Anime of the year for me: My Hero Academia season 2
An example of a sequel that surpassed its predecessor. It expanded on everything that the first season did, and outdo it in every way. I liked the first season but I didn't love it, but this was truly phenomenal. The characters, action sequences, everything.
Other anime I've seen:
Winter 2017
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon: I really liked this anime, and all its characters. Here's a link to my review: https://animemangaforum.com/thread-13019.html
Masamune-kun no Revenge: I thought this had a good start and a cool premise but it completely fell apart and became a harem and a generic romance, and it really weakened its female lead.
Youjo Senki: Watched the first episode and put it on-hold. It was really ugly but it had a pretty interesting presmise, so I may continue it later.
Spring 2017
Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2: I really liked episodes 4-11, but 1-3 was slow and wonky, and episode 12 didn't feel satisfying and felt like it was padding for runtime. Overall, not as impactful as the first season, but I liked the horror elements in it and thought it was a pretty good sequel overall.
My Hero Academia Season 2: Anime of the year.
Eromanga-sensei: I dropped it. Not into the imouto incest stuff really. Plus, it was also really bad.
Boruto: For people who love Naruto and want to see more of the characters. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad either. Watching it purely for nostalgic reasons.
Summer 2017
Made in Abyss: Probably in my top 5 anime of the year. Strong premise, world, setting, art, and the last few episodes were absolutely phenomenal. Here's a link to my review of it: https://animemangaforum.com/thread-12976.html
Tsurezure Children: A very good short(run-time) series that deals with different types of romance found in anime and high school life, and sometimes offers commentary or satire, or plays into the tropes. A pretty funny anime.
Classroom of the elite: Started strong, reminded me of Oregairu(which I loved), had an interesting protagonist, but went absolutely downhill by throwing away the plot and becoming a fan-service show.
Fall 2017
Mahoutsukai no Yome: Put it on-hold because it was slow and exposition heavy and didn't seem like it was going anywhere. Might be appealing to people looking for a fantasy setting with rich magic folklore.
Shokugeki no Souma Season 3: Absolutely loved the first two seasons. The quality(in production) dropped, but the entertainment value was still there. Will definitely watch the 2nd cour in April.
Black Clover: Generic and couldn't stand Asta's annoying voice. Bad pacing. Put it on-hold.
Inuyashiki: Started as a strong and thematic series about what makes us human and became an edgy show that was rushed towards the second half. Very entertaing, though.
Net-juu no susume: A breath of fresh air from high school romance, focuses on adults and their lives, and is sweet and fun.
Kekkai Sensen and Beyond: LIked the first season until it developed an over-arching narrative. Still liked it. In this season, it remains episodic until episode 10, and I really liked every episode. But episodes 11 and 12 felt lacklustre.
Blend-S: A forgettable slice of life anime about a bunch of moe maids in a restaurant.
Houseki no Kuni: Dropped after the first episode. DIdn't know what to think of it. The CG animation is too weird for me.
