I think it would be quite beneficial for a forum to implement a blog as it gives users the ability to express themselves more on the forum itself instead of creating their own on wordpress or blogger.

I prefer a laptop. I haven’t used a desktop since I was a teenager. I like the man power than desktops generally have over laptops, but laptops are my favorite.

Xenforo is my favorite forum software. I also like what Nodebb and discourse are doing lately, especially since they’re connected to the fediverse. However, I used to be a fan of Vbulletin along time ago. Their software was favorite prior to Xenforo.
