Gore involving humans Vs gore involving monsters in anime

i get stuck when i watch it involving humans lol.
but sometimes it's hard to see the gore of monsters too where the body parts are scattered everywhere
 
I don't really appreciate gore.
However, as long as it's not too detailed, I can watch for a bit... But that's about it

I agree. I didn't make it though the first ... five minutes of ... I think it was Elfen Lied,

where that girl gets butchered while still alive, all her limbs are cut off or something, and something to do with ghost limbs sprang from the character's back?

It's been a really long time ago. I just couldn't get into that, fiction or not, it's not my cup of tea.

Oof, Elfen lied is a very tough anime at times.
