    Kids as main protagonist

Look at any Magical Girl anime/manga. Most protagonists are like 8, 10, maybe 14 years old. While I'm also a little pushed backward from watching literal children wage wars, I also remember that this is pure imagination. I remember what I was doing as a young kid, the adventures I thought I'd...

    Let's talk about your day!

LOL, right now, it's in Scrivener, and it's a hot mess! I've got the core concepts down, it's just getting all the jumbled crap out of my brain and onto the page. I'm terrified thinking about when the time comes to actually format all these words into something beautiful, but I have a vision...

    All About Awesomeness: Senkusha

Over the course of a nearly a decade, with three major data loses, Ayeka's Bliss managed to service about 150 members. The typical community had between five and ten people active at least weekly.

    Let's talk about your day!

I started creating my own role playing game system!

    All About Awesomeness: Senkusha

That would be my first website, that later turned into my first anime community, Ayeka's Bliss, a fan shrine dedicated to Princess Ayeka and the anime of Tenchi Muyo! (and Tenchi Universe), which later turned into a Play by Post role playing haven for other bizarre anime-centric, and D&D games...

    All About Awesomeness: Senkusha

Role playing game as in pencil and paper games that involve shouting profanity at some plastic dice while siting around a large table and scarfing pizza (or nachos). Dungeons & Dragons types of games, but not Dungeons & Dragons. I don't care for Dungeons & Dragons. Playing pretend while...

    All About Awesomeness: Senkusha

Actually, I despise taking pictures, whether of myself or other people, or of other people taking my picture. Would I stay within an anime universe forever? Yes, most definitely. Because I'm crazy, and I love unhinged crap, and I might get a special ability or super power or something-- but...

Do you still keep track of your watched anime?

I never really have. I've listed the anime I've seen that I've enjoyed. But I've watched the same anime over and over again, because I like it, most people, as I understand it, don't do this. I'm weird.

    What's your unpopular opinion?

Especially with Ranch or Bleu Cheese dressing! Yum-my! Apparently this is popular within the role playing community: Dice Pools (rolling a gazillion dice and counting only the sixes on a d6). I hate Dice Pools. They're cumbersome, and I think they're inefficient. I prefer a Roll Under...

And I added Metro: Otherscape. (I think I've got an addiction...)

Just added Mekton Zeta Plus (and Empire) to my collection too.

Do you like fanservice scenes of your favorite characters?

This. It very much depends on the character and action. Fan service doesn't belong with loli characters, yet somehow finds its way into the scenery. Does this make me a prude? Perhaps, but appropriateness is crucial.

Have you ever lost a friend/crush because of anime?

    What's a friend? LOL

Would you rather like your favorite character in an anime to be flawed or perfect and why?

Even when I role play characters, I purposely find interesting quirks and flaws to add to my character. Perfection is boring. And nothing is perfect. The same is true for any fictional character, anime or not.

Is there an age limit to stop liking anime?

    Yes. It's over 9000!
