As we are getting short anime these days, it's kinda rushed. First episode is all about introduction and in the second episode we would get major crisis all of a sudden. Do you feel we need more story development even in short anime?
Anime of about 12 episodes long. The story build time is just too short in those animeWhat short anime are we talking about? Are we talking about 12 episode shows or the episodes are 10 mins long?
I beg to differ, though part of that effect could be because some of them only have 12 episodes made, and another season is never made, or won’t be made for years. So when you see a series like that, it gives a feeling of being incomplete, because it literally is.Anime of about 12 episodes long. The story build time is just too short in those anime
Well, I like the story build up as much as I enjoy the anime fights and major moments. Or else it would seem too rushed. I do like tense moments but I divy expect them to be in just the second episode. It would have been perfect for fourth episode or so according to meI beg to differ, though part of that effect could be because some of them only have 12 episodes made, and another season is never made, or won’t be made for years. Though if it’s a singular series that is only 12 episodes and is concluded, I don’t see anything wrong with the format. I view it like an extended film.
With really long ones, you could say the length gives it more breathing room, but it can also be viewed as padding. With shorter stuff, you don’t have as much time to pad, so you have to get to the point. So when you see the really good stuff at 12 episodes, they mastered how to optimize their time usage. Most fans of long series tend to admit that a series they like can have a lot of the fat trimmed off the story and nothing of value would be lost, not 12 episode trim, but still trimmed down.
Fair enough, I haven’t seen the show in question (I don’t think you mentioned the name).Well, I like the story build up as much as I enjoy the anime fights and major moments.
