What's your Opinion on Watching Anime at 2x Speed?

I did want to watch Sangatsu no lion that way but didn't go through that plan.
What do you think? Do you think you would be some to get the entire story by watching it with a fast pace?

In fact I know some people do this just to understand the gist of the story

Also, most people who watch shows at 2x speed are also doing it to increase the number of shows they watch. Especially the shows they don’t like.
