Your honest opinion about Pikachu.

Well, first things first.

Pikachu is popular, powerful(with all those electricity attacks) and not to mention that it is cute(saying "pika pika" all the time).

Now, do you think that pikachu is overrated? Some pokemon are even better than pikachu like corsolla with the recovery attack and some are really cute too.

So, how come only Pikachu's name is heard all the time?
 
Yes, I think Pikachu is overrated in comparison to other pokemon who are cuter, more powerful and more original. Pikachu is famous for being the central pokemon of the anime, but there is nothing special about his abilities.

How was he even chosen to be the mascot of Pokemon, seeing how he is number 25 in the pokedex? I think Bulbasaur should have been the mascot.

think it's popular as it belonged to ash and it's bright yellow color attracted attention. otherwise it wouldn't be the most popular one in pokemon. i am not against it being popular
 
Pikachu is shitty they always keep him in limelight n every season they try to show their bromance bond with pikagay n assh. which has become so cliche now. nvm, I'm just being salty that I don't like pokemon now.

pikachu was liked by kids because it was attractive and i know that bromance too. it's always like that between them and once pikachu refused to evolve. i don't like pokemon all the much too

raichu dog isn't well liked. have you seen the pokemon park? it's everything about pikachu and it overshadows other pokemon and kids like it
