xxxholic Review

It's a really cool anime.If you are into mystery and supernatural stuff...do watch this anime.It's about ghosts ^^

The story revolves around a boy,Watanuki who can see ghosts and those ghosts or spirits chase after him like...everyday!

hehe He wants to escape from all these things.That's his only wish but poor thing,because of his bloodline,it isn't easy for him to get away from all those spirits.

Finding a mysterious shop(From another dimension) changes his entire life.That shop can be seen only to those who wants something(like a wish).

And after that somehow he ends up becoming a part-timer in that shop.And then he ends up in running errands for that shop owner now and then.These errands include getting stuff from other dimensions too ^^

With his friend(Domeki),shop owner(a lady) and some cool misteries the story goes on.This anime got a nice feeling to it.So I highly recommend this anime for all the horror anime fans ^^

The animation isn't bad either.

both. Sometimes Yuka will be talking with the Tsubasa cast through Mokona or receiving gifts from the other realm. Part of her deal with them was, "You gotta gimme dimensial stuffs." They definitely kept it. Every dimension they went to she got more, which is how she got certain items she had.

The art is also a lot better in the manga. If you are the type of anime fan who is really big on how the art looks... I'd probably steer clear of xxxHolic. Closeups are awesome. Bust shots are awesome. However, once you see them from head to toe it is unnerving. CLAMP is rather well known for their long limbed characters, but xxxHolic takes it over the top. They also have what my boyfriend has deemed "yaoi hands", so if that bothers you like it does him then there's another reason to steer clear.

Don't get me wrong, I love xxxHolic. I have a wall scroll of it that I adore. However, the manga is 1000000000x better than the anime is. So if you loved the anime, then you will definitely fall head over heels for the manga.
