Writing an Anime Story

Has anyone written an anime story? Of course, there doesn't necessarily have to be pictures. Anyway, how difficult was it?  Did it take a lot of time?

Also, has anyone simply wrote a story of any type?  The same questions apply.

Lots of people do, its called fanfiction. I haven't exactly written anything original, but I have written some Fairy Tail and Naruto fanfiction that would make for excellent episodes.

I can never be a good mangaka
It's beyond me and when compared to other light novels etc., manga will have a high possibility of getting an anime adaptation.
