I've thought of it as a wild fantasy. There was a time I thought the massive story I wanted to create before I died was going to become a manga, and therefore I had to do it myself. It's been almost a decade and I cannot finish the story out of my head in plain words. I also have learned that I shouldn't be trying to bite too much, perhaps I can find someone skilled to help me adapt my tale to manga if it comes to that, nowadays I am just happy with the idea of finishing it as a book.
That aside, when I was in high school I was going to adapt to 'manga' a crossover fanfic a friend made between The Legend of Zelda and Ranma 1/2. I actually tried to throw myself in a few years ago but I couldn't find her actual story and I can't remember for the life of me how does the story end. I actually have a lot of my drafts from high school about this. If you are really curious I could take pictures and show you or something.
More recently I also was interested in trying to adapt a fanfic from a member of our community, if you check my twitter, those are the drafts adorning my header.
So in a nutshell, I am extremely attracted to it but I have never committed in a project enough to bring anything to fruition. XD
Also, I appreciate the page, it has some pretty neat tips and advice.
This is about sketching the pages:
