Would you want anime with lots of ads but with no subscription?

I don't want to be interrupted every couple of minutes by a stupid advertisement for something that I'll probably never purchase, or have any need for. Just look at Facebook. Littered with ads. Every two posts, there's an ad in your face. Listen to Spotify (I don't have it, but my fiancee does, and she's constantly complaining about the ads (on their free tier). Constantly interrupting her musical enjoyment.
Honestly, I'd rather just go back to an era where I could purchase a physical disk and watch it a million times if I'd like. No subscriptions, just one small purchase cost, once.
