Would you kill the main protagonist?

Let's say that you're an manga author. Would you be okay to kill the main protagonist you created? Whether it be in the middle of the story (to be replaced by other) or at the end of the story
 
Depends upon the story, if I have been given chance I would only kill him, in case I have further plan to about whom I will make the next protagonist.
