Would you have wanted Sanji to be in worst generation?

It would have been great man
But Sanji is nowhere near Zoro. There is a reason why their country couldn't be compared before
 
Bounty is the basis for this. The reason they are called the Worst Generation is because of what they did against the World Government before entering Sabaody, and because they have a bounty of over 100 million berry. That's the definition Oda gave, and Sanji didn't have that much bounty pre-time-skip when entering Sabaody. Almost all the others entered it at the same time, caused major problems and had bounties over that mark.

He didn't want to become a pirate man.
Being a chef was good enough for him but Luffy wanted him in the crew. He was relentless. Nostalgic

even in power he lacks
he is the third most powerful strawhat but zoro can defeat him easily

Well as Lucifer said he's a Chef primarily so his fighting skills are an add-on and he's pretty competent as well.

i think so too
but he won't be able to defeat jinbei and i don't think he can do much without decent haki
 
To be clear, Sanji is my favorite character in all of One Piece, but he's not as strong as Zoro for one reason, he lacks the training mentality Zoro has, at least for combat, on the cooking side is another story, he is a chef not a warrior.

So to answer your question, no, to me Sanji doesn't belong in the worst generation XD

many people think he is very strong
there was even a thread where we agree about jinbei defeating zoro in water i think. don't you think sanji needs to be strong to show his worth?
