Would you apologize to others in a debate if the information you have about an anime or an anime charcter proved to be wrong?

I don't mind doing this but I wouldn't want the other person to act big just because they got the knowledge to do so
However, I wouldn't say anything to it when I am the one in the wrong. What about you?
