IS it worth buying a $50-$60 wordpress theme optimized for adsense? Or are there free ones that work just as well? I'm very new to this so I don't want to invest the money unless I know it's a good choice.
 
Do you want it specifically just for adsense? There are many themes out there can do that which can be both cheaper or even free that are just as good as premium $50 theme. However if you want other features added in and want a quality site that looks unique then you're best bet is to buy one of those premium themes.

currently i am using a Premium theme on my website.. i havn't purchased it i just downloaded via illegal way. I have an IT website so its perfect theme for my website but now i am afraiding to use on my site coz i havn't any license... :(
I also look other free theme but i don't like those... if i generated revenue from my website then i am thinking to buy it... :)

If you're into coding, you could check the way the code certain features, learn and try to come up with your own theme from the ground. Otherwise, just delete it man, you obviously won't want to risk your forum with a null theme, specially if you can find the real author and get it legally. Even if you don't get that one the author may have other cheaper ones. If you get discovered you might get blacklisted all around. :(

anyway, I recommend to search around, you might find something good and affordable. It is best you search for free themes outside wordpress, some people just do it for a hobby and post in forums their creations, others have websites with their portfolios and have a business making them. Google what you're looking for, including features and colours and see if you can get something good.

Yeah... Yo are right, I just changed it and now i am using another theme.. after spending 5-6 hours on google search i found a good theme.. its free and also have premium features if i buy a license...
