Will you try to watch an anime from some genre that you don't like?

So, would you do that? I do.
If it's just too popular, then people just can't help it. Tokyo ghoul, Hellsing and other gory anime are just out of my comfort zone. What about you guys?
 
i don't mind.
i have even tried to watch yuri too but i don't like it but still if something becomes popular, i will try it
 
Don't like Mecha all that much and I ended up watching a bunch of them: Code Geass, Full Metal Panic, FLCL, Evangelion, Bokurano and I also have Gurren Lagann in my list. I used to watch harem anime but now I've stopped it.
 
I watch various of anime, even of genres I don't really like, it all depends on the artwork and the story. 

But I like Seinen manga/anime the most.  But that's because I'm not a young kid anymore.
Anime for younger people 10-16 I often don't like anymore, just too simple story can't get into that fantasy world easy anymore.

I usually watch anime of action genre and nothing more.
