Recently Discord made an announcement that users will need to upload an ID in order to visit mature servers. Many people are upset about this change and are ditching Discord for alternatives such as Root. I highly recommend moving too if you haven't yet.

i don't know why everyone needs an id lol
i get that you are protecting kids but what about the protection of the adults? what if that data gets leaked?

I am from Australia. They supposedly has a very good AI to determine, so I wasn't affected by the limitation. Even so, I am definitely looking for exit plans.
I was gonna flee to guilded but then I learned they have merged with Roblox, who also enforce age verification so I am just falling back to forums I guess.

Having never really been into Discord, I'll probably just continue using many forums... including The Void. (It's probably what I'm going to rename MY forum to. LOL)
