Will luffy save Dragon?

How come Dragon never really contacted luffy? They are a family so it isn't normal at all, if you think about it.

 If Dragon is in trouble(ever) will luffy ever save Dragon? For what reason Dragon is waiting? He is going against his father(seems like the same blood runs is luffy as well. So, that's no surprise).
I wonder what Garp would do, if he can capture Dragon for once in his life

Also, I don't remember him being a devil fruit user. So, I can't really imagine him to be that powerful.

yes garp have no devil fruit,his only power is haki,trust me he is vice-fleet admiral.
