Why The Lack Of Christmas Themed Episodes In Anime?

there are many genres and sub genres and considering everything, there aren't many episodes lol

Christmas is a holiday of peace and tranquility and family and all that jazz. Making that work in non-slice of life shows is a lot harder than in that one specific genre.

I've never realized that but indeed I think you're right, outside of slice of life animes as others have said. I guess for more serious animes they figure it might ruin the tone the show is going for.

Christmas is also just not really a holiday that has a lot of Eastern roots. It's gotten to where it gets celebrated in recent decades, but it's still a pretty recent thing for countries such as Japan.
