Why is seinen series rarely get anime adaptation?

Do you have any idea why is this? Even if the quality of the story is good, they are having a hard time getting anime adaptation. Is anime more focus to shonen?
 
Plenty of seinen get anime adaptations, they're probably just not in the genres you prefer. Most seinen that get adaptations tend to fall under: romcom, sitcom, or schoolgirl.

Lot but compared to shonen are lesser. And all my favorites went to live action rather than anime, this is why i get that impression

I'm into drama, romance, psychology, slice of life. From what i see all my favorites series went to live action than anime
