Why don't people watch older anime whenever the current adaptation is bad?

I am sure animation plays an important rule and all.
Still, do you think it's enough to not to watch the old version of an anime, if the new adaptation is not good?

Because most people can't stand old style animation lol it's not preference, they are just too spoiled/picky

I see
They can always go with manga and yet they try to drop the series when it's not that interesting despite hearing about the previous anime adaptation.

Again.. people like this usually hate manga because it's not in color, there is no sounds and no motion picture lol it's dead end

I see.
I know too many people who actually prefer manga over anime. They don't care about the colored pages and they believe it's the best way to complete a series quickly.

it's a matter of preference lol
and i wouldn't usually pick any anime which is too old and i am not fond of very old animation and with plot, i need good animation too
