Why do you like/dislike Japanese voice acting?

Do you have any opinion regarding this?
Or do you feel like it's like any other voice acting? What are your opinions about this matter.
 
Nothing much
They sound like any other voice actor to me and I don't have much to share when it comes to that

I think it's supposed to be their cute voice.
They don't think it's annoying but rather appealing.
 
I can quite like Japanese voice acting, but sometimes I like dubs as well. As far as video games go, for example, I'd never play Yakuza with Eng voices (not even an option a lot of the time) but I can't see myself playing Persona without the Eng ones. It really depends on how well I think they suit the series.

This paired with the baby voice is unbearable it is like nails on a chalkboard.

baby voice is given only for actual babies in anime, risk
do you know anyone else having that voice?

It’s not, because the characters that do the seductive voice do it in a lower register than the helium voice

grungie is different and he is pretty straight with everything and you don't see that in general

I’m sure some think it’s cute, but others find it annoying. It also could be based on the age of the guy.
