Why do people hate some popular anime which they haven't even watched?

I believe that's totally unfair.
If someone dropped a particular anime after watching it and then talking and how they hate it is just fine.
Otherwise it's unfair. What do you guys think?

I don't know, i do watch or read the series before hating them lol except for one series , One Punch Man, the main protagonist's design annoyed me a lot and how he finished his opponent in one hit annoyed me as well, but them again i rarely talk about this series knowing i don't have any clue about it

they are saying bad about it just because it's got a cool female protagonist.

So I think for me this would be haikuyu...I started it but didn't like it for the first few episodes and dropped it. I didn't watch the entire thing but I didn't like those first few episodes and I think maybe after watching other anime it would be unfair to pass judgement on the entire thing from those episodes but I really don't think I will watch it again

just for me, would you watch 3 episodes? if you don't like it after that, drop it. it's the coolest anime and it's not even scary.
