Why do all the anime characters like meat a lot?

I think it represents the meal for a growing warrior, though I guess Naruto would be the exception for that given his ramen. Since meat is protein, its what is needed to gain strength.

I like this analysis...it could very well prove to be true
Some anime characters though just eat like gluttons no matter what lol
