Why did many people started disliking asuna in sword art online?

she is very pretty and a like brave too and she is a lot better than inter characters like nami.
so why do people dislike her a lot?

but she did well.
main protagonist should be the one to save everyone and it's not very different in this anime
 
Asuna and Klein were perhaps the most interesting characters in the anime but throughout the anime Kirito was presented as Jesus so as Demon said she had to take a back-seat. Plus in the Alfheim arc she was basically a damsel in distress trapped in a cage and that perhaps isn't her fault but the author is dumb for doing that.
I don't really like SAO in general I mean every conflict with the antagonist always has to do with him lusting towards whichever girl is the main character in the on-going arc.
