Why are fights overrated in anime?

There have been plenty of awesome fights this decade. Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Naruto Shippuuden, Mob Psycho 100, One Punch Man feature great fights.

If you want something different, then you should try other genres

Yes not all. Everything can't be good. But there are lots of good stuff out there it's upto you to seek it out.

slice of life can be very boring to me
i would rather watch something with good action or a shounen would do just fine
