Why are anime character's eyes so big all the time?

But what can we do? It's not like anyone else complains and they got certain presence as well.

and there aren't many normal characters anymore. all the characters look repeated to me.

and i think i used to get confused a lot with saber and violet evergarden. they are like mirror images.
 
I wouldn't say that
If anything I think Saber looks good and Violet is slightly inferior to her.
 
Take a look at the actual characters art.
You will see the difference right away and Violet evergarden got better animation.
 
They make a big difference.
I think that's how much the budget can make a difference for an anime.

So, what about Haikyuu? It's good good story and great animation too.
 
let's just say what if it's got poor animation?
