When you think of old classic anime, what characters come to your mind?

I would say it would be Balsa.
She is the best female protagonist I have ever seen and she is nothing like Tsundere and Moe characters we see a lot.

i haven't thought of it before. very classical anime is something i don't pay a lot of attention to

If you consider Alucard as an old character, then you can add it to your list

Isn't he a normal vampire character? Why would you consider him as a classic character?

They are not common man and I am sure only a few anime got any such references
 
Vampires and Alucard is like that man.
I don't think he got defeated till the end of the Anime and after that I haven't followed any manga

The entire point is to just accept who are actual people and are being referred in an anime or good and well written characters
 
Such characters are hard to find man
I am sure you won't be able to see them too much and I like vampires so I always choose them
