What's your opinion on the way teenagers are written in anime?

Most of the people I know are not that stupid or unreasonable or mature.
So, what do you think about this in general?

They are totally cool and uncool at the same time
It doesn't bother me too much as I just can't see Luffy as a teenager and the same goes to other protagonists as well

i don't like them at all lol
sure it's not something usually you expect from teenagers and they are not that strong.

That's the toughest part of their life and they have so many things to do.

but those are just hormonal changes and they need to be able to be control it and you don't see that in action anime lol

and i am sure the maturity is not seen often when it comes to teenagers lol
