people can like really good female characters and there are some that are not meant for fan service alone.
 
I haven't even had a waifu since I was like 14 so it wouldnt really bother me at all :P
Though back then, yeah probably would have had a meltdown lol

That doesn’t make their waifu not trash.
 
Everyone's favorite character is the best in the world for them. There is no absolute right or wrong and you can force someone to like or hate your favorite characters.
 
Personally, I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and it does not matter to me what they think about or say. I'm more concerned about my own opinions.
