What's the furthest you got into a series you ended up dropping?

For me, it's about half way.
I watched about half way and dropped plenty of anime, if they got boring after that.
 
if i get into more than half then i don't drop it lol
and i just put it in hold and will pick up again as i feel it's a waste considering all the time we have already put in that anime.
