Honestly, if you think Gintama is the most disgusting, I guess you haven't seen anything with lots of blood and gore, and other shows with rape and such.

I mean, she watched a ton of action anime where people get killed, blood being shown (I mean, look at Naruto), but no, Gintoki picking his ear and nose is going too far.

Kind of strange priorities.

there is no way anyone can make a knife of their arm and it's only possible in anime.

You can wear something on your arm and do it. You’d have to see some gore videos to see some stuff. Though that’s beside the point, I’m just saying there’s some gorey scenes in Naruto, but picking your nose is a bridge too far. That’s the trouble I’m having.

lol there is a difference between violence and gross stuff lol
people can watch a good fight, but they can't see people taking a $hit. you got the difference now?

i do lol and until now i never gave it much thought.
but sexual stuff and natural other stuff can be gross by children and adults alike as murdering and all, you don't see it everyday and they just believe it's just mad up so that bad guys will be punished by the good guys in the end.

You can’t bring up “think of the children” if we’re also discussing blood and gore in the same discussion.

Sure you don’t see murder and gore everyday, but you also don’t watch people use the bathroom everyday, or (unless you have a porn problem) do sexual stuff everyday either.

but for children it could be like a moral lesson
you do bad stuff, and you get to die like that antagonist. so parents don't really mind that lol

There’s plenty of popular shows and movies where those aren’t moral lessons, it’s there because “wouldn’t it be cool to see someone lose an arm?” It’s not only bad people losing blood in stuff.

So yeah, you’re not giving me compelling reasons why seeing violence in anime is more morally compelling and not gross, but someone picking their nose is a deplorable act.

and i remember hearing something like when you fight evil, you need to be prepared from my sister before.
